CHRISTIAN SIRIANO, ALICE + OLIVIA, ABAETE for PAYLESS

Christian Siriano & Abaete for PaylessCHRISTIAN SIRIANO & ABAETE for PAYLESS

If you’ve been wondering if Project Runway’s most recent winner Christian Siriano’s designs for Payless would be a hot tranny mess, the moment has arrived to check them out.  Christian is hands down my favorite PR winner, and in my opinion “Most Likely To Succeed.”  I was a little surprised that one of his first outings was a partnership with Payless, but the results are kinda fierce.  The booties are totally on trend, and the teal “lizard” print is a a unique print and hot for Fall.  The clutch with rocker hardware is great for a night out or even to keep inside a larger tote.  I’m especially loving the chain embellished Saunter Flat.  I intend to shimmy over to Payless today and check them out.

Payless is also currently featuring on trend partnerships with other big name designers: Abaete and Alice + Olivia.  Check out the chain draped Antoine Bootie by Abaete in either black or gray suede – supes cute.  I’m also loving all of the Alice + Olivia boots.  The Robertson Jeweled Boot could be the frugal choice for evening looks for the rest of the season.  I’m also intrigued by the drama of the Rivoli Fan Clutch.

Note, I haven’t tried on any of these shoes & booties, so I can’t vouch for their comfort, but they all get an A for Fierceness.

Stylishly yours – Holly Wood Goody

Jimmy Choo for H&M

Ladies mark your calendars – Jimmy Choo is coming to H&M.  I just received the H&M Newsletter and was tickled to read the info below.  I wish there were more pix of shoes from the collection, but this is all that is contained in their press section at the moment.

On November 14, British accessories brand, Jimmy Choo will bring its international glamour, coveted shoes and bags to about 200 H&M stores around the world. This marks the first time H&M collaborates with an accessories brand. To celebrate the collaboration, Jimmy Choo will extend its design vision to create a women’s clothing range for H&M that will complement the accessory capsule. Additionally, this exciting collaboration will include a men’s collection of shoes, bags and accessories.
